Five Must-Sees in the Prosecco Hills
by Locals

1. MOLINETTO DELLA CRODA – REFRONTOLO

A charming mill of 1630. It’s located in the Lierza valley, nearby the road which connects Refrontolo to Rolle.

It looks like something out of a Disney movie!

Biking here from the Mani Sagge is really fun, you absolutely must try it.

2. ABBAZIA CISTERCENSE SANTA MARIA – FOLLINA

An Abbey built in 1305/1335, exceptionally well preserved.

You have to visit absolutely the splendid cloisters, predating the Basilica with the elegant movement effects created by the columns. It was completed in 1268, as shown by the stone engraving on the north side of the cloister itself.

It’s considered a beautiful place to get married, and they are definitely right!

3. ARTIGIANATO VIVO FESTIVAL – CISON DI VALMARINO

Just click for the info 🙂

It’s a very little village, which transforms itself during the event Artigianato Vivo. A week, between 7 and 15 of August with over two hundred exhibitors for one of the biggest handicrafts festivals in Italy.

It’s nice to dine among the stalls with freshly cooked local products.

4. GYPSOTHECA – POSSAGNO

A one-of-a-kind museum which holds within it plaster reproductions (in ancient Greek gypsos means ‘plaster’) of the marble sculptures of Canova. He has been a Master of the neoclassical period and originally this was his home.

They organize night-time candlelight tours: trust us, they are wonderful experiences!

5. MUSEO DEL CASTELLO –  CONEGLIANO

Lovely medieval castle, now remains a tower with an art gallery inside. You can find an impressive masterpiece of Palma il Giovane. Climbing to the top of the tower is worth the ticket: you will see what a spectacular view!

At the foot of the castle you can find the vineyards of Villa Gera from which we create our Prosecco Superiore Tenace Extra Brut.
