Made by grapes of Castle Gardens Wine Estate. It is a limited edition from an iconic vineyard between the centre of Conegliano and the Historical Castle. 43% slope, over 20 years plants, 100% hand-made. Chemical treatments reduced to the minimum because they are not necessary thanks to the incredible natural position. We bet on the quality of this wine and we were right. Here we have a residual sugar of 0 gr/L and thanks to the long charmat method production the recommended life of the wine is 18/20 months instead of the usual 12/14. It is comparable with Prosecco Superiore DOCG Cartizze.
Prosecco Superiore Audace Extra Brut is the new iconic wine of Mani Sagge.
The review of the famous critic James Button: “Sourced from a steep slope overlooking the town of Conegliano, close to the town’s castle, this Prosecco Superiore undergoes the ‘long charmat’ method, leaving the wine for three months in the autoclave rather than the typical 30 days. Apple and pear aromas with lemon overtones lead to a dry, focused palate with saline and lemon flavours. There are some ripe green apple touches on the long, stony finish, accompanied by a hint of peach and grape. Only 3,000 bottles are produced from this small vineyard”.
